Insect Light Trap expert, Tom Holmes, has joined Inovus™ as their new Technical Director.
Founded in 2024, but backed by over twenty five years of industry expertise, Inovus™ is entirely focussed upon the insect light traps category, which ensures they can put all their efforts into developing great product solutions, backed with market leading service, training and support. As a privately owned business, customer’s needs is at the heart of their DNA.
On Joining Inovus™, Tom explained, “Receiving the opportunity to be part of a business which can always put the needs of its customers first, was hugely appealing to me. I’ve been really impressed with the direction Inovus™ has taken over the last eighteen months, in providing solutions to allow users to start enjoying the benefits of LED technology at a pace that works for them.”
Announcing the news of Tom joining the business, Steve Jackson, Inovus™ founder and Commercial Director, commented, “Having previously worked with Tom for many years, I know how highly he is regarded within the industry. His understanding of what matters to PCOs and helping us continue to deliver great products, training and technical support to meet those needs will be a huge asset to Inovus and our customers.”
With a background in product design, Tom joined the industry in 2000, when he became Design Manager at P+L Systems. As that business grew, ultimately becoming Pelsis, his role and exposure to the wider industry grew with it, spending time overseeing marketing activity, training and product development, along with representing the business on industry bodies and organisations. This led to Tom becoming British Pest Control Association president in 2017.
More recently, Tom has spent eighteen months working as a consultant, with clients including a global service company and new businesses looking to take their ideas through to launch within the pest management sector.
